MAC Shop Cook collection: photos, recap

A inizio marzo è uscita la collezione di MAC Shop shop shop, Cook cook cook.
Il packaging che contiene i prodotti è quello classico, ma questa volta cambiava quello cartonato.
Lo so, dovrei muovermi a fare i dovuti swatches e le dovute review - a cui cercherò di provvedere quanto prima - ma nel frattempo le confezioni esterne mi hanno ispirata un paio di foto.

In the beginning of March, the Shop shop shop, Cook cook cook collection hit MAC stores.

The packaging is the regular one, but this time the outer stiffened packaging has been changed.
I know, I should make some swatches and reviews and I'll try to upload some as soon as possible, but in the meanwhile, here there are some photos I've taken inspiring by the outer packaging.

How to: remove glitter nail polish

Come rimuovere lo smalto glitter più ostinato?
Molto probabilmente per molte sarà la scoperta dell'acqua calda, ma ammetto che fino ad un paio di mesi fa, prima che un'amica (Vale) mi spiegasse il tutto, io non ne ero a conoscenza, e magari qualcuna, ancora alle prese con acetone, glitter e mezz'ore di tentativi di rimozione con annesse imprecazioni, c'è.
Ammetto anche d'aver iniziato a comprare smalti glitter a raffica solo dopo aver provato questo metodo della carta stagnola - prima mi passava la voglia di applicarli pensando al tempo che avrei poi impiegato per cercare di rimuoverli. E quindi eccolo il procedimento, facile, breve e soprattutto efficace:

I'm sure many of you already know and use this "foil method", but I have to admit I didn't know how to remove this type of polish until a friend of mine (Vale) told me about it two months ago. So, maybe out there somebody is still afraid to wear glitter varnishes because of the removal and doesn't know how to remove them without struggling.

Essie Spring 2012 Navigate Her collection: swatches, comparison, review

The Essie Spring 2012 nail polish collection is named Navigate Her and is a kind of tribute to the "woman on action". Six new shades are featured in this collection. Four are included in the mini set: Olé Caliente, To buy or not to buy, Navigate Her, Tour de Finance. Orange It's Obvious and A crewed Interest are available only individually but I didn't get them (sorry for that!). Many pictures ahead!

La collezione degli smalti Essie primavera 2012 prende il nome di Navigate Her e vuol essere una sorta di tributo a, per così dire, l'emancipazione femminile. Sono presenti sei nuove tonalità di smalto. Quattro sono incluse nel mini set: Olé Caliente, To buy or not to buy, Navigate Her, Tour de Finance. Mentre Orange It's Obvious e A crewed Interest sono disponibili solo individualmente. Di seguito, swatches, review e alcune comparazioni con smalti Kiko, H&M ed altri Essie delle prime quattro tonalità (le ultime due purtroppo non le ho prese). MAC Runaway Red lipstick: swatches, comparison, review

While I'm waiting for my Mac Shop shop shop, cook cook cook order to arrive - the collection launched on March 1st here in Italy - I decided it's better making swatches and review of Runaway Red lipstick (so I won't be too overwhelmed by swatches when everything will come to my door). It's a lipstick repromoted in this new collection and it came out for the first time with Mac Me Over in Autumn 2011.

Mentre attendo l'ordine Mac della collezione Shop shop shop, cook cook cook - uscita il 1° marzo - mi sa che è meglio se mi butto avanti con swatches e review dei prodotti partendo da questo rossetto, Runaway Red, riproposto in questa nuova collezione e uscito la prima volta in autunno 2011 con la Mac Me Over.

Glossybox review: impressioni, considerazioni e box di febbraio

Okay lo so, immagino già i commenti: "un altro post sulla Glossybox? Ancora?".
Ebbene, ecco qui anche il mio ad invadere la rete. Volevo aggiungere anche la mia opinione - alle altre...migliaia? - la mia esperienza dopo quattro box e qualche riflessione personale sul servizio.
